So a God of love will kill approximately 7 billion people?

That's one of the reasons why I am an atheist and also why I call it Armagenocide.

Also, I would like to add that all of this is the interpretation of the the Governing Body. I have friends that are Catholics, Church of England, etc. and their religions do not teach that God will wipe out nearly every human.

Therefore, my two questions are as follow:

1.) "Aren't the interpretations (views) of the Governing Body, rather extremist? For they claim that even the President of the USA, the British Royal Family, etc. will all be killed in a terrible way."

2.) "Therefore, shouldn't more governments look at following the same tactics as those implemented by the Russian government?"

Hey dissed, sweet was right: JWs "don't judge" who gets slaughtered just like they "don't know" when the big A will hit. You gotta love wordplay, with it you can have the cake and eat it too.

If it happened today, take the world population and subtract the adjusted jw numbers. That's how many.
Then subtract 60% of those who really don't believe or are living a double life.

Take the world population at any given time, subtract half the JWs (as probably half of JWs won't survive because they didn't do enough door to door etc.) and then those remaining survivors will be tested again at the end of the 1,000 reign of Christ, which will be even more dramatic. Since those survivors won't be having sex and children in the new world and then probably since half of those people didn't do enough JW work (like burying all the bones of the people destroyed at Armageddon, etc.) through the end of the thousands years, we are looking at about maybe 1.75 million people surviving it all by the year 3010+.

What this means to us today is that those now living in this time of judgment and who fail for one reason or another to take a stand for Jehovah, and are therefore slain by him at the battle of Armageddon, will not be retained in his memory for a resurrection. That this group will include the majority of humans now living on earth is shown by Jeremiah 25:33: "The slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground." These vast numbers slain by Jehovah and likened to dung strewn over the earth could hardly be considered as being "in the memorial tombs" for Christ to remember and call forth during the Millennium.

CAMEO- They don't even know how many ANOINTED they will have left on earth when the alleged " Armageddon " comes ! It may be all the way to 144,000 by then if it keeps increasing 1,000 each year ! How on earth will they know how many will die at the big A ? LOL ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

If they were to do that they would turn off people from joining the WTS.

They have always presented themselves as a happy, wholesome and believably righteous.

Putting froth numbers how how many were to die in a short amount of time would remove

that wholesome presentation. There is devised propaganda machine working with this religious publishing company,

announcing that the majority of mankind is about to be killed off in a huge amount of numbers,

would essentially ruin much of their self marketing.
