Bottom line is that the USA has many other countries it can look to for examples in how to provide healthcare to it's citizens.
It hasn't. I isn't. I won't.
If you read one article that favors the Japanese system, tomorrow the other side will print an article debunking all the horror stories in that one. Americans will then decide which one to follow depending on their idealogy.
I personally think that what will be will be when it comes to the USA. Too much brainwashing to turn around too quickly - people stormed out in the streets screaming when the very notion of having a national healthcare system was discussed - less than 1% have hit the streets over torture, voter rigging, bank bail outs, foreclosures and job loss. The brainwashing that has been done to get Americans to jump up in rage against something they are told is 'socialist', and yet the very fact that they will remain passive in so many other things, points to a great job the corporate/government media does with PR and brainwashing the citizens. sammies
