Any beach where I'm not in danger of having my head chopped of by a drug cartel.

Cancun, Mexico..Rivera Maya area about an hour from airport...
Beautiful crystal clear water, All inclusive resorts... once you pay for it your done. Put you wallet away and enjoy a week on the beach with a drink in hand.
Our favorite thing to do was pull our chairs right into the water (calm) and enjoy watching the kids snorkel right around us.

I would have to say in Honduras. Very poor country, but breathtakingly beautiful!!! I enjoyed Honduras the most, but my little boy LOVES snorkeling in Cozumel. Very pretty too!

Love how liberal socialists love those vacation spots where they are served by non-union poverty stricken peasants. Nice place to show off your sweat shop manufactured clothes. So what if you contribute tons of carbon to the global warming crises. Nice to get a break from the horrible living conditions in the US.
Why do you hate polar bears?

Culebra, a tiny island, pop. 2000, off the coast of Puerto Rico, and a black sand beach on the Big Island in Hawaii where my daughter and I swam with giant sea turtles. Not a poverty stricken peasant in sight (thank God!), but that didn't stop me from showing off my sweat shop manufactured bikini.

Siesta Beach in Sarasota Florida is ranked the 2nd best beach in the USA
behing Hawaii.
I doubt your going to come from Californina to go to the beach though.
Just like I'm not going to go to Hawaii to go to the beach.

Bahamas and various Virgin Islands for the white powder sandy beach and turquoise water
Maui or Honolulu - commercial area, but pretty beach and easy access to everything
Moonstone Beach, Cambria - more of a "solve the problems staring at the horizon" sort of beach day, staring at otters and looking for moonstones (I know they are really agates but I still love them)
Mexico...well it's Mexico, love it...but a little scared of it these days too.
