I'm excited because where we live those loud idiots on motorcycles (not saying you're one of them, btw!!!) are getting tickets now. Also, anyone caught selling those loud tailpipes will be fined too.
God, I love Canada!

Shamus - good for them. Some riders feel a loud bike is helpful for safety and that may be the case, BUT the amount of noise some blast out is a violation of basic community civility.

UnConfused,
It's always the idiots that take it too far. When you're trying to have a drink and bbq at the end of the day, there is nothing more annoying than some loser ripping it up out on the street. I'm pretty happy about the new law.
It looks like fun, but a buddy of mine hit a deer and had a severe fracture - lucky he didn't die. I'm just too chicken, plus I have enough toys.

I was for a long time then got a touch of the Big C and decided to try it. It brings me a lot of joy.
Congrats to the lawmakers with the courage to create the law despite the huge pushback they must have taken from bikers advocates.

Up until 2 years ago a 2001 Kawasaki ZX-7R. Fast and Green.
Right now:
1977 Suzuki GS750 Needs a Voltage Reg. and much TLC and possibly some THC
1971 Honda CB350 Needs a title and TLC
1969 Honda CB175 Building (very slowly) for a AHRMA classic track bike.
Next bike? Here's the wish list
(1) 70's-80's BMW Airhead probably an R75
(2) New Triumph Bonneville
(3) New Suzuki Hayabusa which I will ride to Bonneville and go 200 MPH on.
