I would just dress up in a suit on Sunday and go to the Kingdom Hall, ask to speak to an elder regarding it. They'll be more than happy to answer your questions. You'll get preached to, but you'll get the answers you're looking for.

as youre on a site where a lot of us are exjws, we can mention things that wouldnt normally get a mention if you rang a kingdom hall and asked about the meetings.
anyone whose disfellowshipped is allowed to attend if theyre seeking reinstatement.....period of being sent to coventry until the powers that be decide they've repented enough.
seats at the back are reserved for dfd people and they are required not to mix with the other jws or pass nicetys in or outside the hall environment until theyve been reinstated. this usually includes family members who are also expected to shun them.
