Wine and Crackers Tonight?

  I lift a glass to any who are celebrating not being there....

  I accept your lifted glass and clink my ginger ale to your cocktail.

  2nd time not there will be tonight. I was ready to respond to some who might have said it was a commandment and referred to the scriptures that said to "keep doing this in remembrance of me...." I was going to say, "So, are you going to do as Jesus commanded? You are going to eat and drink at the Memorial? NO, he didn't say to observe."

  So far, and thankfully, they are so far leaving me alone about it.

  i was telling my fiancee (never a dub) about the memorial...she is curious...but I told her it was boring..and the crackers and wine were bland....

  ...she said she would bring some Cheez-Wiz and squeeze some on her emblems...... maybe squirt some on the rest as the plate passes by...

  ...and an umbrella for the wine....

  she was serious.... LMAO. I love her and her twisted sense of humor.

  Just been to Sainsbury's - got some nice real ales in, the ingredients for a curry, a trifle and some easter eggs. This will be the best memorial ever!
