Ha ha, that brings back memories! Yes, we used to get them after easter and they were smashed up before we got our hands on them.

I always ate chocolate bunnies before, during, and after Easter. I made no attempt to hide it from anyone either. That's one of the few things I was never counselled for.

Me too, FF. My family didn't like hard-boiled eggs anyway.

Always eaten Cadbury's chocholate eggs, nothing pagan there, just a British tradition! Eat Easter eggs if TESCO reduce them enough and always get a few bargains from the Jewish counter after Passover.

Even a Christian has to look for the bargains!

Once my mum decided that easter was a no no then easter eggs made a scarce appearance in the house. However we always bought easter eggs after easter for the kids. Bargain hunting was half the fun. Once we got chocolate advent calendars in Sainsburys for 1p each after Xmas best bargain ever.

Yup, easter eggs after easter and only if they were broken up. Some 'naughty' worldly aunts and uncles used to buy them for us.

It made sense to me to get them after easter and save money. After all, you can buy chocolate any time.

From am uber-JW point of view it always amazed me how many people would BRAG about getting them piled in after easter.

I mean, doesn't it say 'quit TOUCHING the unclean thing'.

    Hypocritical barstards.

As a teenager, November 1 was a big day for me at the local store for a couple years. Then I realized I didn't like candy that much.

Easter Eggs? OHHHHH the HORROR! Never, Easter the present day worship of the pagan god of fertility. I also heard it was the Catholic Church worshiping the rising of Christ instead of his death.

Good lord, you never knew what was worse, Christmas, Halloween, or Easter. The trifecta of JW hate response behind closed doors.
