I've heard for years that Vancouver BC is one of the best cities to live in the world.
But the good ol' USA also has plenty of wonderful, clean and safe places to live, like:
Washington D.C. (most murders)
Detroit, Michigan (most crime and urban blight)
Watts Neighborhood, California (highest quality riots)
Galveston, Texas (best hurricanes)
San Francisco, California (best freak shows in the world)
Chicago, Illinois (biggest and best ghettos)
Los Angeles, Ca. (most spectacular earthquakes and best gangs)
Death Valley, Ca. (most balmy weather)
New York City, NY (most friendly people)
Salt Lake City, Utah (most religiously diverse)
Dodge City, Kansas (best shootouts)
Lincoln, Nebraska (highest mountains)
To name a few...
