Hmmmm....let's see. Well, the WTBTS up until recently was "riding the old Beast", so we COULD say that the WTBTS is the King of the South. Which would mean that Kent is the King of the North.
Yep....it fits. And the WTBTS has been persecuting all of those it calls "apostates". So....WE WIN!!!!
The King of the North has always been the German Emperor William II (1859-1941) There is a picture of him in the WT publication "Your Will Be Done on Earth" (1958). This prophecy has already been fulfilled and we have been living in the millenium (invisibly of course as the Bible teaches) since 1975.
Since the death of the Soviet Union the Watchtower has suggested
that perhaps there will be a "NEW" King of the North.
However, it appears that the "new" King of the North will be a
resurrected "old" King of the North. We are about to see the true
fulfillment of Rev. 13:3 when the head that was "slaughtered to
death" has its "death-stroke" healed.
Below are listed the adjustments this new orientation will require.
1. The seventh head of the beast is not the Anglo-American world
power. The anglo-american world power never experienced a death
and healing comparable to the astounding events
experienced by the Soviet Union.
2. The Watchtower has assumed that the heir of the Roman empire was
Great Britain. But, Britain has been anti-Rome at least since Henry
the Eighth. The center of gravity of the Roman Empire was in the
East. That's why the governing center or "second Rome" was at
Constantinople. The "third Rome" as stated in the Watchtower book
Babylon The Great (1963) is Moscow. To this day Russian
Nationalists think of their historical position as the Third Rome.
They have continued to dominate in the ruthless, crushing manor of
Rome.
3. The Seventh Empire according to Revelation 17:10 "remains a
short time." The Soviet Union basically existed for the 74 years
from 1917 to 1991. That's the shortest duration of any of the
world powers.
4. The wild beast that "was, but is not, and yet will be present"
is not the League/United Nations but the Seventh head that dies but
yet lives again to have "authority ...over every tribe and people
and tongue and nation. In fact the same admiring attitude is
expressed by the peoples of the earth toward the revived head of
the Sea Beast and the "was,but is not" beast. Compare Rev. 13:3
with Rev. 17:8.
"but its death-stroke got healed, and all the earth followed the
wild beast with ADMIRATION" / "when they see how the wild beast
was, but is not, and yet will be present, those who dwell on the
earth will WONDER ADMIRINGLY."
5. A serious error was made by altering the scripture at Revelation
17:11 so it suggests that the eighth beast is the United Nations.
To say that the Eighth King "springs from" the seven is more
interpretative than literal in its rendering. Most translations
say that the "eighth is one of the seven". Yes it IS one of the
seven. It is THE SEVENTH "shortest lived" empire which upon its
revival becomes the final empire on earth.
6. Babylon the Great is not the World Empire of False Religion. In
Daniel the final competition on Earth for Supremacy was between two
Kings or two Empires. The King of the North and its Rival the King
of the South. As a parallel to that, Revelation also shows the
final Rivalry to be between two Empires ie. The Wild Beast & The
Harlot. In Daniel the King of the North is Victorious in its final
push to the South. In Revelation the Wild Beast turns on the
Harlot-Like Babylon the Great "city that has a KINGDOM over the
kings of the earth." Rev 17:18
7. Rev. 18:24 says that in Babylon the Great "was found the blood
of prophets and of holy ones and of all those who have been
slaughtered on the Earth." This is not to be taken literally any
more than Jeremiah 51:49 when it describes ancient Babylon. "Not
only was Babylon the cause for the slain ones of Israel to fall but
also at Babylon the slain ones of all the earth have fallen."
11. The Empire of Babylon the Great is very similar to how the U.S.
is described in America's Half Century Thomas McCormick The John
Hopkins Univ. Press 1989 "In the context of the world-system,
hegemony means that one nation possesses such unrivaled supremacy,
such predominant influence in economic power, military might, and
political-ideological leadership, that no other power, or
combination of powers, can prevail against it. Economic supremacy
is the indispensable base of hegemony, for all other forms of power
are possible with it and no other possible, for very long without
it. Any hegemonic power must, simultaneously, contain the dominant
financial center, possess a clear comparative advantage in a wide
range of high-tech, high-profit industries, and function
commercially as both the world's major exporter and its major
importer. Beyond economic power, it must possess clear military
superiority and ideological hegemony as well. By fear or respect
it must be able to exert its political will over the rest of the
system and command deference to its principles and policies.
12. As to the United States riding the Wild Beast consider this
quote.
"Geopolitics after World War II was at its core about limiting the
reach of the Soviet Union. That goal became so fundamental to
American diplomacy that policy operated almost reflexively and
provided a dependable calculus of American national interest.
Peripheral conflicts were deemed significant mainly on the basis of
whether they helped or harmed the Soviet Union. Our ostensible
commitment to liberal capitalist democracy could be subordinated to
accommodate fairly nasty right-wing regimes (Chile,El Salvador, S.
Africa) and even wayward communist ones (Yugoslavia,China,
Cambodia) so long as they blocked Soviet expansionism." The End of
Laissez-Faire, Robert Kuttner, Alfred A Knopf 1991.
13. The feet of Iron & Clay. The successor-continuation of the
Roman legs of Iron is Moscow. The mode of operation of the Soviet
empire stands in sharp contrast to the history of the American
Empire. Although America has been successful at war it hardly fits
the iron-like crushing description. In the book Russia and the
United States (Nikolai V. Sivachev Univ. of Chicago Press 1979) we
find this interesting contrast. "Lenin named American Imperialism,
finance imperialism, thereby emphasizing its economic might.
Russian Imperialism, he characterized as military-feudal
imperialism."
14. The crushing of parliament (1993) in Russia was typical of the
Roman Iron-like methods of solving problems. Bring out the tanks
and obliterate those standing in the way. That's how the Russian
empire held itself together across 11 time zones. To this day,
even in its weak condition it dominates the largest land-mass in
the World. Think also of the tanks that controlled much of Eastern
Europe. How did Russia handle the Hungarian & Czech revolutions?
Truly, in a crushing Iron-like Roman manner. Russian President
Putin inherited a crumbling government but has restored its
centralized structure with a cruel and vicious attack on one of its
most rebellious regions Chechnya. Its capital with a population of
700,000 was obliterated with artillery and aerosol bombs.
15. The condition of the Iron-like Russian Empire is similar to the
feet of the image in Daniel. It is partly strong and partly
fragile. It is strong because it still has a huge nuclear arsenal
but its hundreds of nationalities weaken it.
16. When shortly its death stroke gets healed it will once again
use its iron-like power to exercise "authority over every tribe and
people and tongue and nation." People will say "Who is like the
wild beast and who can do battle with it?" This peaceful, post
cold war period of "freedom from care" will be suddenly interrupted
when the "King fierce in countenance... will bring many to ruin."

17. The "Little Horn" (Daniel Chap 8) is not the Anglo-American
power. It's really the Soviet Union. Notice the similarity of
expressions between the little horn, the king of the north and the
beast of Rev.13.

throwing truth to the earth, and it acted and had success."

DENUNCIATION will have come to a finish."

Rev 13:7 "And there was granted it to wage war with the holy
ones... And all those who dwell on earth will worship it."
18. Another problem with interpretation arises when you compare
Daniel 11:31 (King of the North) with Daniel 8:11 (Little Horn)
Dan. 11:31 "And there will be arms that will stand up, proceeding
from him (King of the North); and they will actually profane the
sanctuary, the fortress and remove the constant feature.
Dan. 8:11 "And all the way to the Prince of the army it (Little
Horn) put on great airs, and from him the constant feature was
taken away and the established place of his sanctuary was thrown
down.
It is far easier to understand that the King of the North and the
Little Horn are identical than to try to explain how there are two
"throwing down of the sanctuary"as the YW book tries to explain it.
This is especially sensible after considering the many other
similarities between the King of the North and the Little Horn.

How many times do I have to tell you people? The King of the North is Santa. He lives on the North Pole, so that is all the proof we need.

The king of the north is canada, as in the great white north. From here we angry apostates will come riding skidoos, to defile the sanctuary, the brooklyn bethel. Removing our tuques and parkas, we will insinuate ourselves in a bethel tour to sabotage the printing presses, thus putting temporary stop to the daily sacrifice. During the ensuing flooding over and passing through, Bethel security puts in a call to the cops-fbi, reps of the king of the south, who come to the rescue of gods people, wiping up all of the melted snow and ice.
Inspiration is tuning out .. hoping for more transmissions later. If this doesn't end up coming true, then it's that wacky weeds fault for blurring the vision.
