i know that my daughters abuser was a min servant when he abused girls in the cong then got reprooved when found out , i presume he was then stopped from being a min servant but he never answered at meeting S despite every meeting standing at the back counting people present . when i started attending meetings i wondered why he never answered but was not too shy to count people every meeting , when i asked my bible study conducter she never really gave a straight answer and looked embaressed . i thought if you had been accused of abuse you could not have priveliges .
is counting how many people are present at a meeting a "privelige"

The elders decide which "privileges" (in Dub-speak "privileges" = unpaid labor) to take away and which ones to let a guy keep. They're not always taken away completely.

you guys still stuck in there....have some fun and stand up during every meeting...go to the back and count intensely.....pen and paper in hand like at conventions....wander up and down each aisle a little....then stand at the back totaling your numbers as you walk into the lobby.
this will drive elders and esp the turd with the real "privilege" of counting TOTALLY NUTS!!!!..........when asked you just say you want to make sure everyone is counted and are trying to help....hahahahahah............oompa

Once i was late and got a chair out at the back the attendant ran over and snatched it from my hands "that's my job" I burst out laughing. I'd taken his privileges away.

wha happened?
Just about anything in the KH can be held up as a privilidge like a carrot on a stick. Its part of the conditioning

In our congo only elders do the count.

In most halls its the job of the attendant to do the count. Sometimes there is one attendant for the first half, then another one for the second. Sometimes its just one guy for the whole meeting. But the attendant is a so-called "privilege" (Good idea putting that in quotes) so if he is still doing it then I'm sure you could cause a stir by protesting. BTW looloo he only got reproved for that?

It is also a "privilege" to scrub the toilet, and as you pilot the brush over the fecal residue therein, you can feel honored and hopeful that your next assignment will be to wash the circuit overseer's skid-marked panties.

depends on how you look at it. It gives someone the excuse to get up for a few minutes. Go in the multi purpose room/kitchen. Shoot the breeze with whoever else is out in the lobby. Go outside and check on the cars. Anything to get up for a little bit and reclaim a little bit of sanity.

Everything associated with a KH work is considered a 'privilege'. I agree with what happened. Its part of conditioning.
