I hope all the best for everyone in the affected area...the plates on our planet are definitely shifting recently and it's causing some serious freak outs.

It was very deep - 46km or about 28 miles. That will hopefully minimize the damage..

From what I saw in a CNN report, it happened under relatively shallow ocean, and is not expected to cause a major tsunami.

This is like the 5th major earthquake in 3 months!!! It's offical, the JWs are right. I will defenitley be returning just to play it safe. When all the earthquakes stop, I'll leave again, but until then I will be an active Jehovah's Witness. You can never be too cautious.
