I worked with some former Mormons to develop a comparison chart. Even the exes' lingo is strikingly similar to ours!

I found it quite interesting and did note some similarities to JW's. For the past three months Mormon missionaries, both boys and girls, have been volunteering at the Soup Kitchen. They have not pushed their religion and they are truly nice kids. I do not espouse Mormon beliefs, but I have nothing but praise for them.
I am certainly seeing another side to the Mormons that I did not see before.

Here's a link to the book that helped the Federal Government legally overturn the Mormon practice of polygamy... I'm on page 44, and it's a pretty good read, written by a young woman who was born into the Mormon religion in the first half of the 1800's, married into it, widowed, and requested as a "19th" - or quite possibly 27th, or 55th - wife of Brigham Young...
Also, the amount of money Brigham Young is worth at the time he cut off support for Ann Eliza Weber - Young, is astounding - a fortune even today, and mind-boggling in the 1800's!!!
