Another thing - Subject titles that are teases, and don't really tell me what's inside make me not want to open them.

I skip most of those types, too.
When I open one that has a really interesting topic, though - or someone looking for serious assistance - I'm suprised that they would risk losing out on getting the response of so many oldtimers that assume it is fluff.
Many people just scan the topics to when they have a few minutes and the poster could have captured their attention if they had labeled their post differently.
Oh well. Different styles bring different results.
