One must procure the product from your local drug dealer. Or google where they grow and go pick them in the spring.
Again, I'm pretty anti-drug, but these things.... zooooweeee! And you need to experiment with them over time - you may not like them. Take it slow...

The spores are legal in most of the US. They do not, in and of themselves, contain any controlled substances. You can have them mailed. Someone I have heard of recommends syringes as opposed to spore prints. The hardest thing is keeping the growth medium from getting contaminated by mold spores or bacteria, I've been told by a friend of a friend of a friend. Just make sure they are Psilocybin Cubensis, these are the easiest to grow, it is reputed. Any strain will do, so they say. Someone I have heard of has done best with Amazonians or Ecuadorians. Golden Teachers are aptly named also, and recommended by some anonymous source.

The last time I did shrooms was with 4 dried grams of home grown cubensis, grown in rice flour with 3 grams of syrian rue(Peganum harmala) to double the potency. I was alone in the mountains.
My world shrunk into a small dot. It opened me up to feelings long suppressed. I remember coming down only, and crying for a tree that was dying.

I visited my favourite mushroom hunting spot and it had been tarsealed and turned into a carpark for the tourist buses.
Another Paradise Lost.
The largest group I have tripped with was probably over 50. I had taken off my T shirt and filled it. The whole load was cooked up in a ten gallon pot with veges. There was no moon that night and we had no lighting other than cigarrettes, joints, fireflies, and tiny lumenous mushrooms growing in the rainforest where we had our shelters. A magical night.

THE GLADIATOR
Picturesque Amsterdam in Holland, with its canals, lanes and shops, is a great place for a long weekend, if you live in Europe. It houses a Van Gough art gallery and has a superb canal boat ride.
In addition to naughty ladies in shop windows in the north of the town there are cafes that legally provide joints made out of some kind of leaf. Little shops sell dried hallucinogenic mushrooms, tolerated rather than legal, to make your trip complete. I have been there many times - only for the beer - of course.

I visited a friend of a friend who was dropping away from the borg,I was well in at the time,and he was into my kind of music. However,he slipped some mushrooms in my tea,I found out later,it was quite a frightening experience for a good clean dub boy when all the buildings around me turned into Lego and started falling in towards me.
I live now near a valley where they grow,all the hippies go there in the spring. May go and try some again,see if I can make some good music.
