The Village has Joaquin Phoenix in it. I think it came out in 2004. Do not google it, read any reviews or read the DVD cover. Simply pop it in and press play.

Do yourself a favor don't ruin The Matrix by watching the sequels.
I agree, I do have the sequels on DVD, but I think the Wachowski brothers got full of themselves in the sequels. Every other scene doesn't have to be some obscure [redacted] metaphor you [redacted]! Seeing Zion though almost made it worth it.

morganphoenix: The Village is directed by M. Night Shyamalan. I haven't seen it yet but I like his movies so it'll probably be good.
