It's not too soon to start mentioning that to JW's- Let them know that 100 years is a long time and even G-d only made the Israelites wander in the wilderness for 40 years, before he brought them to the promised land. Let the doubt begin creeping in and let the JW's know they aren't the only ones with doubts. I will mention 2014 to JW's from now on- it's a date that the WT hopes the JW's will ignore.

So you're out of retirement..? Do you think JWs will put any bearing on the 100th Anniversary of 1914...? I don't understand how they will make any comparison, they don't actually 'think'...

I am retired from the active street work. I had to remind everyone, that I never said I wouldn't talk to JW's on the telephone. It's not hard to find JW's to talk to- especially with the summer conventions starting soon. They love to put PR blurbs in the paper- like. "call elder braindead for more info about the convention", etc. They love having the public call them up- it's easy FS time, right?

I agree that 2014 should be a huge thorn in the side of the borg. If not occuring naturally, it should be instigated by US.
Originally that was the deadline I had set for quitting but I ended up expediting the situation.

My hubby thinks the big A is gonna come that year. He figures generation means a lifetime and there would be no way it would go past 100 years.
I havent bothered to tell him all of the flipflops on that one.

Thats right in Watchtower world a generation means two,
with one you get two, its so easy to understand.
In the year 2114 one generation will mean three generations.
In the year 2214 one will mean four generations.........and so on
