Yan, not with the reversed direction hooks that line this marvelous device. One problem is that some women may enjoy wearing this....

Looks like it'd deflate your ego a bit. But, you wouldn't have to stay erect for those backwards barbs to stay in. Reminds me of a porcupines quills.
Rape is a horrendous problem in Africa, though. I don't know why, exactly, but the stats are really awful. Lack of cultural prohibitions? Just guessing here.

These are not new ideas. In the dark ages and beyond chastity belts were the rage.

So are women suppose to just walk around wearing these in case they get raped?
I don't get it.
And besides, if a woman can conceal it from a rapist to the point that he would stick his penis in there then she can also conceal it from any lover that she would like to get revenge on.
Oops, I'm sorry honey, I forgot it was still in there.

And besides if a woman can trick a rapist into sticking his penis in there then she can also trick any lover that she would like to get revenge on.
That's what I'm thinking. There are freaks out there who'd do that to a guy too. Imagine explaining that one to the hospital or doctors. I wonder if the developer watched this movie. . .

The biggest danger is in an already violent encounter turning much more violent.

It's suppose to be worse then kicking him in the balls, so it gives the woman a chance to get away.
But how do they know that? How many guys volunteered to test it out?

That strains credulity, as there is no way that the pain this causes could compete with the incapacitating effect of being kicked in the balls. Also, this pain is induced by trying to remove the condom, so as long as the man is not trying to remove it, he's free to act out in other ways.
Women should not be afraid to use their vagina dentata ;)

I think it does too.
I'm still trying to figure out how it stays in place without the rapist noticing it.

I think it's supposed to be an identification 'tool' in that a person coming into the ER will be easily recognized as a rapist. If a rape has occurred but the rapist is unknown, then a search of men in an ER room getting the condom removed, would be linked up.
I believe it works by pushing little pincers into the penis - think of carpet tacking - they would have to use pliers to get the pincers out.
I think that the condom should be made available and the choice given to women to use it or not. It is their body and their emotional/psychological determination that should be considered and not anyone else's. If they know the risks of using and not using one, then it becomes their decision and their risk.
