That's pretty much a slam-dunk rebuttal for any JW who says the society allows open questioning of their teachings.
"The point is that Christians have implicit trust in their heavenly Father; they do not question what he tells them through his written Word and organization." Watchtower 1974 July 15 p.441

Let's lead this to its inevitable conclusion: the Watchtower is God's Word just the same as the Bible is God's Word. I'm reminded of a quote from 'Bearing Thorough Witness' book, I forget the page number, maybe 103 or somewhere around that area, where it quotes Russell as saying "We wish no homage for ourselves or our writings." Obviously they manage to couch such necessary homage for their writings inside sentences like this. Creative use of the English language--is that what the 'pure language' really is?

Iam afraid, this statement may be the very basis for the development and eventual transformation of the WTS into a cult outfit for what it is today. Sad but look true and obvious.

Now we know the Watchtower as an organisation is the same as God. No different. Get or leave it.

Heaven - "I think they're a hair short of a Jonestown kinda situation. They just need one nutball in a position of ultimate authority and they're all dead. Pass the Kool-Aid."
Gotta get the Masada compound up and running first.
I'm not really dismayed by anything the WTS does anymore; as far as I'm concerned, it's just Natural Selection doing its thing, at this point.

I remember a circuit assembly part that presented the proper way to handle everyday questions that might arise. The solution was to get out the Index and look it up in the Society's publications. Nothing about using your own brain.
There was a demonstration featuring a father whose daughter approached him for permission to go to a school dance. Instead of reasoning with his daughter, the father said, "Let's get out the Index." They looked up a few references and the daughter was completely convinced that she should not attend the dance.
In my Kool-Aid-drunken state I thought it was a good idea. Now I think it's horrifying.
