You are absolutely right. I've been waiting and waiting for an apology and it just gets worse: I need a serious make-over, I should date a blind person, I'm a male (means to me I'm so ugly I could be one), and I might have a penis.
It's ridiculous to the point that I erased my defensive comments on this thread after thinking about them. I've seen men in the congregation that make digs at their wives in order to make them feel bad.
Needless to say, those marriages ended in divorce most of the time. If they are badmouthing their women in public, imagine what their home life must be like. I divorced a man like that after the verbal abuse escalated into hitting.
I'm no martyr and will stand up for myself and others. I do tend to walk away in real life when someone is like that.
But on a discussion board, no answer can be the best defense.
Gotta remember I'm 41 not 21.
