    I'm not trying to change the thread or anything; but the chemtrail bit reminded me of the pesticide trucks that went down the streets when I was a kid. This is what the kids in the neighborhood would do when the trucks came through:

    I was surprised to find out that it still done! I guess it beats dying from Malaria, or Dengue Fever, or whatever!

    Prince is just a poor man's little richard... LOL

    I think he is high as kite on Oxycotin.. He won't have the double hip surgery because of the blood issue.

    OK, took a minute to look at chemtrails. This is the Wicki -

    This article mentions Prince as a proponent of the conspiracy theory; a PBS interview was given 7/24/2009 in which Prince says he noticed that a lot of jet contrails over his neighborhood coincided with a "lot of people arguing and fighting". Well, that is about watchtower standards for scientific statements - right?

    There are a number of articles in the search list proposing other stuff like "population control", "weapons experiments", "global warming experiments", and so on.

    I am still wondering if the WTS is aware of this nutbar ranting, and if they are trying to do anything about it...

    The Watchtower is as nutty as Prince. You can't say that they don't believe in some crazy things! I think that they love Prince and his money.

    Well, they have put up with some pretty crazy people who had money in the past (Michael Jackson comes immediately to mind) - but only up to a point. On the other hand, maybe there are more Chemtrail enthusiasts at Bethel - who knows?

    My mother was a baptised Jehovah's Witness. She was also a fervant conspiracy theorist. She listened to Art Bell, a late night talk radio show host where contrails were just the beginning. Wait until you hear about the Black Helicopters, Men in Black, Sun Spots, Aliens, etc. Anyway, she started to tell her other lady friends in the Congregation but got the feeling that she should "shut up" about it as it wasn't a JW teachings after elders approached her....

    Yes, there is a connection between JWs and conspiracy theory people. Both are gullible and will eagerly believe in irrational explanations of the unexplainable. Just, that the Watchtower wants a monopoly on the person's mind so they don't advocate other people's conspiracies.

    Prince & my mother would have had a grand time talking with each other. But, my mother, much poorer, would have to debate with Prince behind closed doors.

    Zid... Still puzzled by the "eight presidents before George Washington" comment...

    Maybe he's got the US presidency confused with the WTS presidency.

    Is it just me or does Prince sound a bit mentally ill?

    The World Health Organization's ICD-10 lists paranoid personality disorder as (F60.0) Paranoid personality disorder. [2]

    It is characterized by at least 3 of the following:
    1. excessive sensitivity to setbacks and rebuffs;
    2. tendency to bear grudges persistently, i.e. refusal to forgive insults and injuries or slights;
    3. suspiciousness and a pervasive tendency to distort experience by misconstruing the neutral or friendly actions of others as hostile or contemptuous;
    4. a combative and tenacious sense of personal rights out of keeping with the actual situation;
    5. recurrent suspicions, without justification, regarding sexual fidelity of spouse or sexual partner;
    6. tendency to experience excessive self-importance, manifest in a persistent self-referential attitude;
    7. preoccupation with unsubstantiated "conspiratorial" explanations of events both immediate to the patient and in the world at large.
