Dated about 4 months before proposal. Got married in four more. Were married (still are technically) 23 years and it turns out he never did love me. Said he felt "obligated because he asked me" and "when you court somebody you tell them what they want to hear." (Found that out only a year ago) Nice huh? Yeah real nice, loving JW that he still is. And then he proceeded to ignore me for two decades.
for those that married in the "truth"

We married exactly 2 years to the day of our first date. It was a long distance relationship. Both born-ins and in fulltime service. We had very little alone time b/c the family and congregation always wanted to get with us. We really should have taken more time to get to know each other one on one. But it's worked out , we love each other and are really good friends too.
JWoods makes an excellent point. - The socialism of the witness dating scene is very counterproductive to getting to know someone well enough to determine if you really want to live with them for the rest of your life.........it's a total crap shoot.

Holy shit not married, but the fact that couples can't have any PRIVACY when they date makes me sick.(*spits in disgust*)
