Question- ''Why don't Jehovah's Witnesses have blood transfusions?''

Answer - ''We DO have blood transfusions as long as it has been donated by non-Witnesses and split into parts that we call fractions.''

Yep. That's an excellent but very simple explanation that even Witnesses can understand.

Answer 2: Dubs don't accept whole blood transfusions as a loyalty test to the Borg.

That's awesome, Bohm. Are you still studying with the guy? He hasn't given up on you yet?

Mad, no we are still studying. I have turned the apostate-information down a few notches but i am being honest with him. Im mostly going to maintain status quo and learn more about mind-control. It also help he is quite liberal and a genuinely likeable person - he often says that parts of the talks, illustrations are not very good and i would not be to surpriced if he wakes up 5-10 years down the road.

Right now we are studying the 'Keep yourself in Gods love'-book; that suit me perfectly since the mind-control is so obvious and at times it is so stupid it is humorous :-).

THOMASC: excellent way to capture a lot of the stupidity in one sentence!

I used to be on the PVG (until removed by the WTBS). JW's DO take blood transfusions. When you look at what's a conscience matter, they accept 99% of what constitutes blood, excluding the cell wall of course.

I couldn't handle the "God's Love" book. I tried breaking down the mind control in it and got through a couple subheadings of the first chapter before being so thoroughly disgusted I had to give it a break. I may take it up again when I can stomach it.

The correct answer to that question is:

"Because the Governing Body has told them they shouldn't. Disobedience means disfellowshipping, with both long term (loss of paradise earth hope) and short term (loss of all JW family & friends) consequences."

The slick lie that has populated the heads of JW's :

JW's are protected by not getting blood transfusions from tainted blood.

The above is only true if you abstain entirely. If you take fractions your exposure is exactly the same.

    Another question to ask is:

Since the term "fraction" medically and otherwise just means a component of a thing, on what biblical basis do JW's arrive at the conclusion that taking one "fraction" is a conscience matter, but another "fraction" is a disfellowshipping matter?

None of those supplanting anti-christs at the WTBS can (or will) answer that one.
