When they say "the government" had "official board of inquiry" and "obliged the church to announce that the cause of the problem had been...the president of the church" what REALLY happened was:
The clerk who issues the room rental permits pretended to make a few phone calls and told the Dub elder who was complaining to him that he's sorry for the inconvenience (probably caused by his incompetent double-booking of the room) and that it was all the church president's fault.
As an aside, it's amazing the dubs never notice the doubletalk. Even though Jehovah ALWAYS wins in the experiences printed in the article, the underlying message is always to FEAR OPPOSITION FROM THE DEVIL.

They are making Satan and his demons the central figure in this religion after the Governing Body. We are hearing and reading more references about Satan than Jesus. I guess it’s a natural inclination to talk so much about their real father. They fail to publicly admit that money, greed, pride and the desire to control millions of people is their driving force. Just like Satan…they want to get what they want sparing no one.
It could also be (I’m saying this in a sarcastic, condescending way) that they are playing reverse psychology on ex-JW and conscientious objectors (a/k/a apostates). To make us believe that we are better off staying shut in order discourage their “persecution complex”.
Paranoia is settling in, it’s so sad that this will just contribute to the mental and emotional breakdown of thousands of their active members. It breaks my heart to see that for some, there is no way out of this abusive religion.

For the WTS and JWs, it's so much easier to blame Satan than to take any possible ounce of ownership or responsibility for any sort of failure or misfortune that comes their way or mistakes that they make. The problem with this methodology is, nothing ever improves or gets resolved or gets better. It just get worse and worse.

It just shows the extra mile the JWs leaders will go to discourage people from reading things that are critical of them, learning about authors complaining that the JWs leaders misrepresented their reference books as supportive for distinctive JWs leaders' stances when they weren't, learning about better evidences and reasonings that go against those stances, esp. if anyone was hurt or killed, learning about the JWs leaders' bad prediction record and even their lies about their prediction record, etc.

Were talking about someone who rented/scheduled a room for an event that went overtime,
and the govenrments involved?
Some of those Pacific Island nations are so small that most smaller counties in USA have larger populations & their national governments woulded be much different to running those smaller counties. Everyone would of heard about the problem.

JW's have run out of "good news" to preach and that is their main problem. Most JW's have a hard time even explaining what the good news is to a worldly person.
It is a good feeling the JW gets inside knowing that soon all the bad people in the world who don't like JW's coming to their door or who hate the JWs, preaching the 'good news' or who are apostates- like Danny Haszard, will soon be exterminated by G-d and end up as buzzard food- then the JW's will live happily every after with perfect health and return to their youthful vigor- getting new teeth and the bald geezers getting a full head of hair like Terry,(for 1000 years) on a paradise Earth just like the Garden of Eden, except everyone has electricity and beer and Pepsi Cola, pizza, polyester clothes, flush toilets and toilet paper and rubber sneakers and live in the nicest home they want ( formerly occupied by haughty rich worldly people-now bird food). Nobobdy gets tired from walking either or has to have air conditioning or a furnace, so it must be a balmy 77 degrees all the time. And everyone is happy all the time- without valium or Old GrandDad whiskey, never hungry and the Elders run the show, so everyone never has to think for themselves. Yes, the Good News of the Kingdom is great- except the JW's just can't explain to me from the Bible how all this is going to happen.

I remember how the CO altered my husband's experience for the circuit assembly. Think about it, all these experiences, how many of the people involved in their development for the printed page were present when they happened. They are relayed to headquarters by COs and DOs who weren't there but received info from elders. Perhaps the CO/DO might interview the actual rank and file jw, but then it is only their word. Where is the corrobating information. Do they interview the non-jws in the story? These are twisted and changed to fit their theme or point. Some of them showed up 20 or more years ago in the publications and show up again 15, 10, 5 years ago with the time features eliminated.
