With all the "food" "fluff" Larc has started, it has made me wonder how many here are vegetarian or meat eaters.
I like my meat in winter, but only in very small amounts.
Summertime I go completely vegetarian and relish fruits and vegetables.

I like meat...and I like vegetables also.
I used to be vegetarian, lasted about 3 years. But then the call of Kentucky Fried Chicken was just too much.
I eat fish and seafood twice a week.... he he he

No, I'm not a vegetarian. However, like you, I can easily have a totally vege meal, especially summertime, and be totally satisfied. Even in the winter, I often opt for a nice plate of seasoned steamed, stir-fried, or roasted vegetables.
Englishman is so right about roasting vegetables - it seems to bring out their natural sweetness, and imparts a subtle smokey flavor - delish.
Another preparation I love is to cut up potatoes, onion, celery, peppers, either sweet or hot, and cook with a little orange juice; then when tender throw in a handful of peapods and cook for a few more minutes. Odd sounding with the OJ, but quite tasty, imo.
Nope, I don't like many types of meat but I love ham and cheese sandwiches as well as bacon. Pig eating a pig? Nah...
