Having d/a a few months ago I requested an Elder and a m/s to be my friends, just for a bit of fun, yeah Iknow nothing better to do. Imagine my surprise when I got loads of friend requests from apostates. Dont know how they did that. So i`ve closed my account, if I can pry into their accounts I`m sure they will do the same to me.
I'm thinking the same thing lisa.

I'm kind of considering accepting his invite and telling him I don't want to be a JW. I think it'll be much easier to have that conversation via facebook than in person. This may be my opportunity to get a lot things off my chest concerning this organization. Maybe this could provide the closure that fading away hasn't.

I have A BUNCH of Dubs in limbo on FB. The ones I friended before the fade are still there but with minimal permission to see anything or post on my wall.
Just tell him that you're obeying the society and curtailing your Facebook activity. Perhaps he should do the same.

If he's using FaceBook and he's an elder there's
got to be a reason why he's still active on that
social website despite counsel to not do so.
Safest thing is to block him, and edit your profile
to increase your privacy settings.

You can also PM me his facebook id so I can try to friend him. I already have one Jehovah's Witness trying to 'save' me. Perhaps he can 'help me' as well.
I'm sure that between AK - Jeff and I, he will be too busy to hound you.
