What are some things you are looking forward to doing that really make you feel good?

I got the brakes all changed on our mountain bikes(bicycles not motorcycles) yesterday so I'm hoping the weather

holds out so we can go biking later on today.

Since it's now the month of May, later on this month looking forward to grilling out, camping, hiking, boating and various

other water related activites that I've only been able to dream about through the long winter we had.

I so love the warm weather.

How about you guys/gals? What makes you feel good?

Farmers Markets in the months they are open.

Mushroom hunting, and enjoying everything out there except the ticks

Seeing my kids play in the pool or riding bikes in the neighborhood

Sharing a cocktail with my husband and just enjoying being close to him

The long sunny days here are starting and I am soaking it all in. Looking forward to early mornings and late evenings at the beach.

Gosh I looooove summer to. Can't wait to get the pool open, spend nice, long afternoons outside with a drink and soaking up the sun.

Heartbreaker, where do you mushroom hunt at? I have always wanted to dig for truffles at least once in my life, always thought that was so cool!

I live in Kansas, and here the season is usually when the dogwood trees bloom - so around mid April to first week of May. However this year there was a really hot patch, followed by below 50 degree nights, it totally ruined the season. So, on to next year.

I have never truffle hunted either, not sure the area to find them!

HB, I think truffles is a European thing? Maybe our European friends could clue us in. Have you ever picked fiddle heads? That's what we called them in Maine, it's ferns before they grow up, they are very edible, actually a delicacy, in their early stage. But you have to hit the time just right for it to and I missed it this year:( Another thing I always wanted to do was harvest saffron in Spain. I guess they only do that during a three week period every year and they pick the flower pistons by hand! (At least that's what I read) Can you imagine how beautiful to be out in a field of flowers like that.

I like running. That always makes me feel better. I like nothing better than to get a good book on audio and go for a long trail run.

Waking up and drinking coffee on a Saturday morning and saying to my wife:

"I don't think I'd go in service today.", and then she says "Stop that!"

I like it when our kitty sits on my lap and looks totally relaxed.

I like knowing we're leaving and will never run into these people again (JWs that knew us).

I'm looking forward to getting paid LOTS MORE than I'm getting paid now.

I'm looking forward to that cruise to Bermuda.

I'm looking forward to weather that's not like the surface of the sun in summer.

I'm looking forward to getting 3 more of my books published.

I'm looking forward to connecting with family I have that I don't know at all.

I'm looking forward to crossing the state line knowing I will NEVER live in that state again.
