They bash people for adultery. What they don't bash is that they themselves create many of the conditions that lead to adultery. This happens when the relationship stagnates (no oral sex, spending time together only in field circus, etc.) or when the husband becomes a tyrant. Usually, in the tyrant-husband case, the wife will be forced into doing what he wants all the time. This leaves no personal freedom, and she doesn't desire any sex from a tyrant. This causes him to "need" to seek sex elsewhere, and adultery results. Notably, the congregation itself encourages the wife to be in absolute submission to the husband, except if he wants her to break the congregation rules.

Another thing they bash is regular fornication. I see nothing wrong with regular fornication--even if two same-sex people freely choose to have sex with each other. However, coercing children to get baptized at age 6 under threat of being destroyed is wrong. Then, too often these children get on hounding calls--itself immoral. The subjects are usually things like questionable attitudes toward holidays or having "bad" songs. As if this fun-killing wasn't enough, a significant number of them are molested during these hounding calls and then silenced about it. The hounders doing this are as likely as not to be doing this just because they get their kicks out of ruining children's lives. And yet, they have a cow when someone commits regular fornication.

WTW you reminded me of one of my pet peeve - the WT shows sex in very bad light, it will destroy your relation with God, it will make you sick, you are a prostitute if you ever sleep with someone before marriage and so on... then they start listing the negatives why you shouldn't have sex, which are mostly two: diseases - preventable, so they emphasise this: you will have bad conscience! Of course she will have you stupid, you made her feel that way!

I'm not a JW, but have JW relatives and acquaintances in the org. It irks me whenever they insinuate that worldly people are all amoral. While I realize that anyone can make a mistake, I'm amazed at some of the low caliber people that my relatives associate with. People I wouldn't allow into my home, because I simply wouldn't trust them. Over the course of many years, I've also observed some behavior that doesn't live up to their self image and yet they are so quick to judge anyone who isn't a JW.
