6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
I use to get into trouble all the time when I had to fill out a form asking me to "write" something.
I've always printed in neat block letters.
You'd be surprised how certain places INSIST you write cursive even if you prefer not to.
So, I've developed a block letter method that slants and has little "lifts" at the end just to satisfy the bastards
who want cursive.
