“solemn warning” well first to name your post in this manor smacks of arrogance. My first gut feeling was that you are a extra sanctimonious Jehovah’s Witness, who feels he can gain some brownie points with the almighty, and their-by earn his way to salvation, apart from his “amazing grace” he shows to all humans.

Something that's always bothered me about manmade religions is that the adherents seem to be fairly convinced that they've covered all the uncertainties of their faith. Alexander Campbell, in the 1830s, believed that Christianity could be restored through 1) studying and 2) applying. One studies the Bible, then applies it to starting and maintaining a church. He thus argued that the pure religion could be "restored" by doing just that.

But do declarations in and of themselves actually justify a religion? "Certainly the Lord God shall do nothing save he reveal his secrets to his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7) The Seventh Day Adventists claim Ellen G. White as the conduit by which the Lord made known His will known in these times, and of course the Latter-day Saints herald Joseph Smith and other prophetic leaders as the means by which the Lord has made His will known.

The Catholics, while admitting to certain innovations throughout the ages, claim to have the keys of authority necessary to bind on heaven and on Earth, and the Orthodox trail behind somewhat, but eschew the missionary aspects of the ancient church.

Wannabe needs to provide more substance to his church and somehow find its legitimacy, but how is he to do it? God never indicated to anyone, either inside or out of the Jehovah's Witness faith, that His great work would be accomplished in the last days through a publishing company -- or am I wrong? Are we to believe that God came down from heaven and sanctioned representatives to act in His Holy Name ("called" I think was the term). When did any of the Bible Students ever claim it? Are we supposed to be mind readers, or did God call a press conference?

Witnesses have to Awake! to the reality that their religion is man made. I see nothing in the Bible about God establishing a Kingdom of men. If one reads Daniel 2, the prophet states that when the Lord establishes His Kingdom, that it will be as a stone cut "without hands" and not be "left to other men," which indicates that the Lord would establish it, not man.

If one views the current JW leadership, from whence to they derive their authority? Who ordained them? Did God talk to them or did an angel admonish them? I've read the threats the publications make if one does not hearken to these people or acknowledge them as God's agents. They hide, for the most part, whereas Herbert W. Armstrong appeared each week and locked eyeballs with the world. There's no shortage of claimants, but supposition is not the rock the Lord said He would establish His church upon. "For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you," said Jesus to Peter, "but my Father in Heaven." Name one WBTS leader who ever claimed that the Father had given him authority! ("For ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you.")

Until then, we must assume that "certainly JEHOVAH will do nothing except He reveal it to a New York publishing company" is not His way of doing business. Of course, I could be wrong. If so, please enlighten me!

A very solemn warning, don't pay attention to anyone who firstly cant spell solemn,

they may not have the articulate intelligence of thought within themselves.

I really do think JWS come here to put in time, its allot easier to sit on your ass and not confront

    people at their homes.

Tough on you buddy! Only your loss, not mine! Oh! BY the way! You're lousy so called Christian attitude doesn't really bother me all that much; but you'd best be giving some serious thought to just how your attitude is effecting Jehovah right now; or don't you believe we're on the doorstep of Armageddon; at which time you'll have a serious change in attitude??All of you Christian's, so called will! Much weeping AND WAILING AHEAD FOR ALL OF YOU! {Revelation 1:7 Matthew 24:29, 30} Hope I spelled all of that to your satisfaction. If not, tough beans! Wannabe

You are only a newbie at that game, Sunshine. Jehovah has been making my father look like a fool for 70 years by not bringing WT Balmygeddon 'soon'.

How long are you going to be a sucker? Are you going to still be one on your death bed, or are you going to wake up and smell the roses while you are still young enough to enjoy them?
