I LISTENED TO 3 OF THE 5 EPISODES, AND ALL WERE WONDERFUL. VERY CLOSE TO THE JWS. ISN'T YOUTUBE A WONDERFUL WAY TO GET INFORMATION?

One of my best friends (when I was living in California) was a long time Scientologist.

That's all he talked about incessantly!

I didn't realize it at the time, but, I was inadvertantly getting an "education" in Scientology by his constant dialogue.

I went with him to the C.C. in Hollywood. (Celebrity Center is a mansion filled with instructors called "Auditors".)

I took a Personality Profile and sat in on an introductory lecture. I viewed an Auditing session too.

The great thing (!?) about the way the courses are set up is that guys get pretty girls to Audit them!

Ladies get handsome young guys! (Clever, eh?)

The courses are based on "self-improvement" and are great fun.

You do a list rundown and grab two "can's" hooked up to an E-Meter that detects "reactive impulses" in your subconscious (reactive mind).

If you are relatively young and have some money it can be an entertaining religion because there are no attendance rituals or prayers or boring meetings with a preacher.

    It is all about YOU!

Jehovah's Witnesses could learn alot about how to get people sucked in from adopting the better procedures from Scientology.

In Scientology, though, you go up level after leve chasing a state or condition called: CLEAR! You get your reward in the here and now.

Then, you go across the BRIDGE and there are even more (PROGRESSIVELY EXPENSIVE) levels after that.

You are imaginatively and imaginarily empowered to accomplish great things in your life.

No pie in the sky bye and bye for Scientology. No sir!

My friend died of alchoholism and liver disease in 1983. Scientology really came through for him...........NOT!

There are similarities to the JWS/religion and Scientology/religion, firstly there are regulated procedures to cull people to the organizations.

The insinuations that there are evil spirits about causing great problems and turmoil on the earth to the detriment of humanity.

Both organizations promise a path to spiritual cleanliness and a better fruitful and happier life upon joining the organization.

The JWS go as for as if you don't join the organization you will mostly likely die at Armageddon.

The Scientology use mechanical trickery to cull people, to instill a fearful inadequacies of themselves, of course every new person

who takes the test fails, leaving the person venerable to further sales pressure.

Using attractive people to sell at the counter is not sunrising as this is part of the exploitation and manipulation by the organization.

What I find in similarity between the two cults is the pyramid structure of power where you enter at the lowest bottom level and as you progress

to are classified as being spiritually stronger at every progressive level.

This keeps people working hard to reach the highest forum of spiritual strength within the organization itself.

The while interesting thing about Scientology is how did Ron Hubbard go from being a science fiction writer to

a cult leader and create this religious cult that exploits and entraps people into mental slavery and servitude.
