All over the place, there are existing regulations about heavy construction on weekends when neighbors would be disturbed. It's really a non-news item. Nobody cares if it's a Kingdom Hall or a grocery store. They just want peace and quiet on the weekends.

Yes, it will end once it's built anyway so they should demand the limits on the JW's now.

I hope they never get the damn thing finished. That ought to bring shame and reproach on Jehovah's name--when they end up with half a Kingdumb Hell.

Slow news day in Casselberry, FL if this is all they got to report on. The building codes say no heavy construction on Sundays...what's so Fg hard to understand by that? Even the building spokeman said they would obey the law of the land.

Maybe WFTV reporter Daralene Jones likes to stir hornets nest...maybe she has JW connections and smells discrimination, incorrect though it is.

And some of the residents in the area are too sensitive as well. Anytime you build something you have noise. Get over it...you can't control property you don't own. “The noise damage has already been done,” said a dumbass neighbor. WTF? Once the thing is built there won't be any more construction noise. But you will have increased traffic to bitch about...

Um, my question is: Why is it taking so long to build the KH? Don't they still do the Quick Builds where they're done in 1 weekend?

It's been awhile since I was involved but I think they've kinda gone away from that. They still do quick builds, just not in a weekend. A lot of those early quick builds had to have extensive renovations - some torn down even. All kinds of problems. One hall had terrible mold due to inferior construction methods as they tried to finish on time. One hall had the ceiling cave in, they ended up tearing it down, If I remember correctly...and it was only 10-15 years old.

Apparently Jah's spirit took weekends off, thus causing the dubs to not be directed properly when building KHs.

Wow! I wasn't aware of all the problems they'd had with the QB's. Ya, funny how Jehover didn't protect them from mold and caved in roofs. Doesn't give a very good witness.

I like the idiot Witness spokesman who sounds like someone from the 17th Century...."Members stay politically nuetral, and always obey the laws of the land." What so other religions would declare war and overthrow the government.....idiot!

I guess no one, no JW is willing to take a little time off from work for JG to get this project finished. The noise restriction is very reasonable and consistent with most cities codes.

Yeah, two days, became quick builds, which became one monthers.
