Apparently, according to police in the area - the elders were leaving the hall after an elders meeting when the shooter took Mort- the victim inside the hall and shot him. Gonzales is married to Mort's ex wife -- he had a restraining order on Gonzales in 2002 which was recinded in 2003 ... .. so no JC meeting..reads like Gonzales was no longer a witness...
So there will be a lot more to come...

OK so here is a possible scenario, Gonzales is mad because Morty never warned him about what a bitch this babe was now Gonzales was stuck with her and Morty Mort is laughing his head off because he's no longer stuck with her. Or another scenario is, Morty's ex told Gonzales she wanted to go back to Mort and Mort was going to take her back.

I think the last scenario seems most likely...
I suspect that Gonzales [the shooter] WAS married to - uh, let's call her "Piosneer Polly" - but that something happened to break up their marriage...
An elder ("Mort") provided a bit-too-sympathetic ear to poor Sister Piosneer Polly after her "scriptural" divorce...
The elder ("Mort") was a bit too sympathetic BEFORE poor Sister Piosneer Polly's divorce, and he [Mort] and Polly have recently been reinstated... Or were never publicly disiplined in the first place because Mort's family has too much 'pull'...
Mort [Morte...] helped Sister Piosneer Polly get 'evidence' for a "scriptural" divorce from Gonzales [the shooter], and then Mort [Morte...] married her... Said 'evidence' consisting of little more than seeing Gonzales take a co-worker out to lunch, or other such innocent act...
So many possibilities... So little honesty from the elders/WTBTS about the REAL facts behind this horrific crime...
