"In a relationship I want to be adored and worshiped. I want to be the only woman in existence for my man."
Reality or a dream?

It's an idealist concept.

You could probably make that reality for five or ten minutes at a time but that's probably the best you can hope for.

Worshipped? Geez, don't want much, do we?
I might ask my husband for that one day if I want to see him roll around laughing on the floor.

While it IS the dream of most western women, dear IMHO (peace to you!)... and is a reality for a very small few... it is unrealistic for MOST women. That's because they are NOT the only woman IN existence... for their man or any other man (or woman). There's a WHOLE lotta wimmens out here... and to think that a man can/is going be able to focus on the existence of one... is asking a lot. Not that I am giving such men license to focus on MORE than just the EXISTENCE of the other women...
But I'd say, it's virtually impossible and for those small few that are able to accomplish it (i.e., believing there IS only one woman in existence)... I'd personally be concerned about some kind of pathology. Oh, and chains. And basements. But that's just me.
Peace to you!

I want to be adored. I want to be loved and understood and valued.
I don't want to be worshipped (I haven't done anything to deserve that). And I am not the only woman in existence. I think the whole western view of romance sets many relationships up for failure before they have a chance. We need some fantasy but too much of anything ruins the good we have in life.

EndofMysteries
IMHO = coverpage case of where the 'nice guys finish last' debate comes into place, and proof most females have no idea what they 'want'. In 'reality', with what she says she wants, if she met this 'guy' and he did what she 'supposedly' wants, then it would be, "he's too clingy", "he's not a real man", etc, etc.

I guess it depends on your personality.
I do treat any woman I'm in a relationship with like that.
