Its something about hearing it as part of a discourse to be delivered to thousands of people at one sitting that makes this seems so absurd that folks should get up and walk out.
Unfortunately, most of them will be sleep and will wake up only for the applause of the new DVD. Most will never even know this is what they are suppose to believe.

This is a complete waste of time. They say that the "generation" is limited. What they don't tell you is that the limit, given that two generations intersect (by as little as a zeptosecond or a yoctosecond) make up "a generation", is that this limit can be a l--o--n--g time. Starting in 1914, you have the longest living person born in 1914 living to 120. That brings us to the year 2034, and the longest living person born in that year also hits 120. This "limited" time now extends into the year 2154! And that assumes they don't attempt to string yet another generation to this "generation garland".

Actually when you look at it objectively, it's really quite humorous. It makes no sense whatsoever and the poor lemmings will eat it all up and congratulate themselves for being blessed with new light...or expanding light, or lightning light....however they describe the phenonemal zaps of holy spirit on the self-centered big shot dudes in Brooklyn or on the farm or wherever they hole up and dream up these fantasies.
I cannot believe I was suckered into this foolishness for as long as I was, but when you are raised in it, it is all you know, and you are fed this crap about how blessed you are to have the Truth and paradise right around the corner. Of course if you don't hawk the message sufficiently you'll die a horrendous death. I was doomed to start with...
At any rate, this whole thing is just so silly it's unbelievable!!!

This is really pissing me off!!! My family is divided over this crap religion.
Will someone please send them a dictionary and explain "generation"? Joseph and his brothers were viewed as one generation not because they were contemporaries but because they were offspring that are at the same stage of descent from a common ancestor.
And if I hear my sister tell me that we just need to "wait on Jehovah" or "that the brothers will take care of it", you may just see dear Shopaholic on the evening news.

Dear Bethel Brothers,
Since 1994/5, when the generation that saw 1914 passed away, many have been waiting patiently on Jehovah for a new explanation of "that generation". Our expectations were not high. Even something vaguely coherent would do. So far you've told us that 'that generation' are any of the wicked and twisted generation who see the begining or end of the 'Lords day' or any anointed ones living at any point during the Lords day. Now, 'evidently' "that generation" refers to the generation who saw the generation who saw 1914 (anointed class). How the hell are we meant to sell this on the doors?
Please. If you don't know just say nothing. Please stop making s*** up.

Well it does sound like the kind of crap they would come up with to fool the gullible. If a witness would hold them accountable for what they taught in the past instead of just eating whatever horse manure the Watchtower decides to spoon feed them they wouldn't get away with this kind of nonsense. Unfortunately most witness won't. The Watchtower could tell them the generation refers to the life of a tree and use a scripture that speaks about the the cedars of Lebanon as proof and the faithful would just gobble it up.
