Tragic Elder's Meeting

From the end of the article:

Roxanne Long, who lives next door, said she never suspected any feud between the men.

"They're both mild-mannered people," Long said. "Ken was a very good guy. I've always thought Riley was too."

One of the things I have observed among JWs is that there is this seething anger lurking just below their "we're the happiest people on the Earth" facade. It's quite scary because it bursts forth most unexpectedly.

The thing is that every JW is supposed to so "loving" to each other.
They can't have a good argument with each other.

Then resentment builds up, until it explodes

WATSON- Interesting story. Ater reading it- in my opinion the REAL story of the history between these two men hasn't been let out yet. People in the article are too protective of the killer like, " Oh, he went on a walk in the park and shot somebody, we just don't understand. He seemed so nice". Nice my a$$ - he killed somebody ! I mean there is the point about the restraining order for sure- but there's a lot more to this story that needs to come out I'm venturing

It sounds like enraged revenge, taken out on a guy that took the man's wife and kids and maybe even his house.

The murderer is married to the victims ex-wife, not the other way around as it would seem.

Flipper's right. There's a lot more to this story. The other elders were fortunate to get out alive.

I've read several threads on this subject, and now that I've gotten the facts straight (I think ...), I'm wondering whether the elder's EX-wife - now married to Gonzales - may have mentioned some unsavory secret about the elder (the victim) that so enraged Gonzales that he acted in a blind rage...

Several scenarios have been suggested, but I'm wondering whether it may have had to do with the elder being a closet pedophile (sexually molested his children, prompting the wife to leave the elder...), or perhaps marital rape...?

Either situation would make ME too angry to think straight!!! Zid
