I know that it's been said that ibuprophen taken often must be taken with a lot of water to avoid kidney problems.
It seems that it uses a lot of water to process the pills through the kidneys, so they need more water to do the processing.
Asprin thins the blood and can upset the lining of the stomach.
I don't know about acetaminophen. My grandmother takes it as she is allergic to asprin.

Depends on many factors- does the person have a history of bleeding disorders, liver disease, kidney disease, pregnant, what other meds a person is taking, medication allergies?

Acetaminophen is very hard on the liver.
Ibuprofen in general is a better drug I believe.
