  This is probably going to start in the middle of one month and carry on into the next. They do that all the time so they can get people to pio-sneer during both months, and get fake peaks during both.

  Either way, it is getting ridiculous. Every time there is one of these waste of paper drives, they are required to stay out extra hours in field circus. Which deprives them of time to do anything else (like working, sleeping, and fixing their homes--that have to be getting run down by now). And, if they are going to have one every couple of months that straddles two different months, they are never going to have time to do anything else.

  lmao...now I know you were in awhile if you use the nmonic "GA" for Awake! ...which on literature forms and inside the magazine would appear as ga! then later on as just g!. Harkening back to the old pre-Awake! days when it was Golden Age

  As for these campaigns, good catch WTW...they are straddling months and I believe for the same reasons you outlined.

  Again...sooooo glad I dont have to do that crap anymore...

  I remember the false religion campaign a few years ago. My "friends" told me to get rid of my doubts and questions because that was it. They were so sure that the sting was so strong that with 6 months of finishing the campaign that the great tribulation was going to start. I read it and asked what made it different from any literature in the past. The answer..."This is the one that will set off the great tribulation". They actually got several folks back to the meeting with that campaign.

  Then a year before that the CO's were reading letters at the KM school that the they would be in the New World the following year. My BIL called my sister in a panic who in turned called me and my response ..."No one knows the day or hour." her response..."I know and people are already starting to doubt all of this anyway." Then she snapped back to superdub within minutes.

  So let them have their special campaigns and call to "arms", in a minute folks will start to see a pattern and walk right out the door.

  The tracts message was clear, we are deep into the last days, with undeniable proof, and the proof? That all these bad things would happen within "ONE GENERATION" and that generation was very old....uhm

  ** He was removed quietly, from his GB position, and transferred to another location, supported by WTS donation money till he died. And they say they don't hide nor protect child molesters.

  Here they go again! recycled message over and over and over again. Which Bible translation are they pushing in the tract.

  The note on the bottom would propably read, all scriptures are from the New world translation of the watchtower bible and tract society.

  The householder's bible may say something different then their translation in the tract.

  Could you please pass this along to your superiors - they don't seem to get it.

  1) Just naming something "special" (special talk, special assembly day, special campaign) don't make it so

  2) Having 3 or 4 "special" field service campaigns per year (Memorial invite, DC invite, "special edition" mags, and now this) tends to make the masses yawn with boredom rather than jump up and down with excitement.

  "Another special campaign? Oh, OK. Say, let's go to Burger King instead of McDonald's for our coffee break!"

  Another poster mentioned the special campaign for, "The End of False Religion is Near". I didnt realize it was from 2006. Wow, how time flies. This past winter, I was doing door to door with my BIL on an unusally warm day. The neighborhood is not the greatest. There was a house where we couldnt tell immediately whether or not anyone lived in it. While standing on the porch and marveling at the mess that it was, what did I see on the ground? That purple track with lightening bolts and big bold print proclaiming, "The End of False Religion is Near!" Can't believe its been four years since we did that!!! Four years!!!! Your parents ever tell you the story about the little boy who cried wolf? Special.
