I think Crystal did much better than Lee as far as performances in the finale. Also think she is much more talented. Lee is a great singer and will only get better the more comfortable he gets going big time. Voter demographics play a much bigger role and got Lee the win.

I think Crystal was the better performer and should have won . Last year I thought the same about Adam Lambert . Number 2 always seems to go on and do well so ....whatever . I thought the show this year was a let down after the last three yrs .
I haven't heard a single person sing this season...........I find the non-winners tend to do a lot better in the professional setting....
Well, I must be in the minority. I've liked Lee right from the beginning. I also liked Crystal. To be honest, I think Crystal should have won but I prefer Lees stye. She was much better than him in the final round. I think she is a better singer but I like his voice better. Either way I thought they both were very nice humble people and would have been happy for either one of them. Lee won but this won't be the last we hear from Crystal.

lee was breaking up all over the place, he is like an untrained bruce springsteen........... not my cup of tea.
will definetely buy crystal's songs........... the range out of her mouth is mind boggling/numbing!

last year was the same, i bought lambert album, but would never buy one from the winner, nor buy archuleta's stuff, nor anything from the leprechaun
I told my family from the beginning that Lee and Crystal would be in the finale. I think Crystal is the bigger talent but I'm not sad Lee won.
Crystal did much better the night before the finale, Lee actually seemed a little "zoned out". I think Lee won because so many voters are young females who swoon over the cute guys.
I think they both will do just fine in the long run.
Dacheech: I am a huge Adam Lambert fan. He was robbed on AI. Chris should not even have been in the top five. If Adam had lost to Gokey or Irraheta it would not have been so bad. The only reason Adam lost is because he was openly gay and there are still many people out there who can't handle that and can't acknowledge talent in someone who is "different".
I too thought it would be crystal and lee. I wanted lee to win even tho he did sing not so good tues, and crystal did much better. But, there is something about lee that is so cool, i like how humble he is, and how thankful, i think his voice is more commerical.
Crytal will have an audience too, but maybe from a comtemporary standpoint, shes a young girl with an old soul...i luv her too.
This was year was not the best year, but from a personality standpoint, lee and crystal were very likable, never did anything "too much", seemed to be good peeps...
