I had cornbread once, as a kid. My friend and I made it, and we ate half of it before we cooked it in the oven. I was so sick. Never wanted to try it again after that.

When I was kid, most of our meals consisted of beans, greens, and cornbread (well a lot of the meals not all). I can barely stand beans or greens today. I don't eat a lot of cornbread either. I still like it; but it's something that I have to have a craving for.
My husband still loves beans, greens, and cornbread. I just don't cook those things very often. When I do cook said things, he wants a big chunk of onion with it.
