I just got home from a fab birthday party! My friend is a musician, and it was his 60th (though you'd never know it). He had a gig at a private club tonight, and both old and new friends gathered to sing along with him, and generally have a good time.
No absinthe (duh), but I did have two shots of Jack, an a couple beers. There was NO decent scotch whisky to be had , thus the Jack's.
