I used to feel this way but as time went on. I started feeling it less and less. I feel like a new person compared to 2008.
Well done "d", I think we all become adifferent person to some degree when we leave, but for some, say someone born in, and in for many decades, when they leave it makes them suffer from something similar to PTSD, often along with depression and even suicidal thoughts, so it can be a seriously dangerous time until some time in to the journey away from the cult.
Stories of the successful finding of happiness and contentment (eventually) are of immense value, it really does get better and better the further one gets away from the cult and its malevolent influence.
