Do You ENJOY The Holidays & Birthdays Now That You Can Celebrate Them?

Father's Day is, to me, the second worst day only after Valentines Day. However, I do like Christmas--I even have the decorations all summer (they are too pretty to take down). I also like listening to the Christmas songs now that I can enjoy them. As for Halloween and Easter, I do like putting decorations outside my apartment for those holidays.

Now, if only Osama Obama wasn't so hellbent on ruining the country, I wouldn't be so embarrassed to put up Fourth of July items as well. But, I am embarrassed to be a citizen of a country where that incompetent tyrant is running--not to mention, any day now I expect to find that AOL has been seized by Osama Obama.

I am on both sides of the fence with this one. I like the freedom of being able to participate in them, i.e. saying "happy birthday" or "merry christmas" without the guilt but I don't really get into the whole celebration part. Maybe because I wasn't allowed to do it the first 40 years of my life. I actually went to a birthday party last night but didn't find it particularly fun, but that could have been due to the people throwing the party and the guests that were there.
