Jonathan Perfetto in New Hampshire is fighting his case in Concord New Hampshire's courts. He was convicted of having child pornography on his computer a few years ago. He very much wants to go to the meetings but the sentence he was given prohibits him from having any association with children. Now he can't worship and follow the Jehovah's Witness religion by attending meetings.
Poor guy.
For the record is studying the bible not a baptized JW.
The ACLU is involved and they argue that he shouldn't be denied his religious rights and to ensure everyone's safety, they would have an elder "chaperone" him at all times.
Personally I think he lost his right and should not be allowed in. How can an elder chaperone and take care of the KH's responsibilities?

The story is from 2008 right after he got out of jail and there's no mention of JWs. Guess he's found himself a new home in the last two years.
I'm sure an elder chaperoning him would just mean an elder would be there during the meeting.I don't see any elder staying there with him, right by him the whole time...or going to the bathroom with him. I hope, will all the press this has been given, that people in that area know his face. If he really really wants to go to a freaking meeting, do it by phone hook up...
