what do you mean 'approve' them?

my parents shun me because I was baptized but no longer attend.

but they do not shun my younger brother who is living with his girlfriend; he no longer attends, but was never baptized.

Tis strange indeed how the possible consequences of it was never CLEARLY pointed out, like in most normal contracts they have what are know as "the small print" with the possible sanctions, consequences and penalties of voiding Said contract.

I know of an Elder who was deleted for both allowing his non JW daughter to live with her boyfriend in one of his own properties prior to marriage and then going to that wedding thereby giving his blessing to the arrangement despite warnings from fellow elders not to do so.

So he gave his approval and got the repurcussions for it.

I even know some who have children my kid's ages and expect them to 'try before you buy it' when they are older.

all of those parents also would fornicate before agreeing to marriage if they found themselves single

I think a lot of JW parents operate on a "don't ask, don't tell" basis.

They don't say anything to their kids when they suspect the kids are experimenting with sex. It avoids those "difficult" conversations, threats of kicking them out of the house, turning them in to the Elders™, etc. That way, they can still enjoy a relationship with their children and if the Elders™ ever confront them, they can honestly say they were unaware of the goings-on. The kids unspoken end of the bargain is that they don't get caught.

Everyone's happy. JWs put the "fun" in "dysfunctional".

I honest to God believe asilentone is a pedophile. He admitted to spying on his 15 year old neighbor, he looks at porn, he constantly talks about sex on this forum, and now he's asking us if we know any adults who would approve of their "child" having sex. There's only one logical explanation as to why a grown man with asilentone's track record is looking to find out about "children" who's parent approve of them having sex. This guy is definitely a pedophile.

Unless the intent of the question was about incest then I doubt it somehow. If your 25 yr old "child" is having sex, then they are still your child, get me? The term is not soley used for minors.

25 year old child? That doesn't even sound right. I never heard anyone refer to someone over 18 as a child. Even a parent would say "my son" or "my daughter" rather than my "my child" if they are over 18. Considering asilentone's history and the way the question was phrased, I'm very sure he was referring to children under 18.
