  It's OK if you both have nothing to lose and/or don't really care if you go out with a bang.

  There will always be a householder who'll know a local JW somehow, and say,

  "Hey, I met one of your friends the other day and you know they told me that you people don't really abstain from blood like you say you do [or whatever 'anti-witnessing' topic], and they said this and that."

  "That doesn't sound like our people. You sure they weren't evangelicals?"

  "Nooo, really. They said they were JW."

  "Did they give their names? What did they look like?"

  "Well .... "
