  Knowing that the GB claims to be the "anointed", and that "christ" means "anointed", Matthew 24:23,24 comes to mind:

  At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.

  We might also read this: "...if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the anointed!' or, 'There is the anointed!' do not believe it. For false anointed and false prophets will appear..."
