    TJ,

“Perfectly horrible” of me to refer to you as a “verbal gymnast”? Since when is loquacious dexterity and agility a negative unless u factor in dishonesty?

On the other end of the spectrum is lockjaw. No one has accused either one of us of that.

Perhaps, u thought my implication was that of a double-jointed verbal contortionist, who squeezes himself into too small a box and defies logic by getting out.

No, nuthin’ horrible ‘bout a gymnast, verbal or otherwise. He has to keep his balance, stay on the beam, his timing impeccable to vault over his antagonists.

    TMS,

As I didn't understand a word you just said, and as you previously singled out MY posts and not Alan's, does this mean you agree or you disagree with what I said?

Just curious. If you don't answer, it's cool.

    TJ,

Had this typed once and lost it.

First of all. . sorry about injecting silliness into a serious thread.

OK, off the top of my head:

Words like “braindead” are hard not to take literally. Either, all brain activity has ceased or never existed.

As JW’s, we liked to use the phrase “willful ignorance”, referring to persons who had access to info that could have redirected their life, but chose not to access it. We may have stopped short of calling them “evil”, but saddled them with all the responsibilities associated with willful wrongdoers.

Years pass. We find that we ourselves have been willfully ignorant, by our own definition.

So, based on my own experience and my own self-estimation, I would be inclined to agree with you and stop short of prematurely labeling anyone or anything.
