Julian was watching 28 Days Later yesterday. This song is the theme and plays throughout the movie. It's beautiful in a melancholy, Tubular Bells from the Exorcist kinda way. It gets pretty intense. It's one of those songs that builds and builds in layers. Eery, but so pretty.
The band is 'Godspeed You! Black Emperor', the track is 'East Hastings' from the album 'F#A# ∞'

As much as it pains me, I am in total agreement with Mrs. Jones
She picked two of the best movie songs. I have to repost them. Mrs. Jones, you're kind of ok in my book
Cat Stevens/ If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out
Harold and Maude

My mother took me to see Harold and Maude, during Christmas break from school. It had just turned 1972. We saw it at the Art Theater in Buckhead/Atlanta, GA. I fell in love with it immediately. Went right with my dark mood at the time.
I love this song from the soundtrack. Maude was showed during play of the song. She never lost that childlike wonder of things.

I love it when we do this. It is so much fun seeing what movies and songs we all love. I was still a JW when Saturday night live came on but I never let it stop me from watching. I took a lot of flack for it but I would not trade those memories for anything. It was fun and the WTS and just shove it. Oh I took a lot of grief for watching Ghost Busters but really , it WAS funny.
