We have a social ex-JW support Meetup group here in Phoenix. It is upbeat, supportive. We meet once a month. We usually Meetup at Denny's but have met up a few times at our homes. Actually, we're fun, non-doctrinal, non-judgemental. Actually, we have one couple who have married that met through our Meetup. Maybe you could start a Meetup in Santa Barbara. I wish there were more ex-JW Meetups starting in more locations.

Hello xelder! Sorry for the rough patch, it will pass although it doesn't seem so when we are going through...

I'm in the LA area along with quite a few here on the board. We meetup regularly, (though not really on a schedule), and would love to have you.

In a few weeks we will be having a meetup since one of our posters from the board here is visiting us from a far off land. I will post details as soon as we figure them out.

In the meantime, our dear Aude Sapere is not far from you, might PM her, I will contact her on Facebook.

xelder - I'm just down the road from you, in Ventura County. I'm having minor surgery tomorrow but should be up for a little meet up this weekend. Also, Tuesday or Wednesday next week I will be in Ventura for beachwalk with a friend. You can join us if you want. Let me know.

Hi Xelder, we are on the other coast but I am sorry for what you are going through. I can't even imagine getting out and getting divorced at the same time.
