"new light" is what the bethel proctologists find when conducting their examinations of the GB ... "oooo lookie .. found something in there .. must be new light!"

This is the scripture they use to promote the concept of new light....and they take this scripture completely out of context:
"The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." Proverbs 4:18
If you read the entire chapter, you will see that it has nothing to do with changing teachings. It has to do with a father teaching his son the best way to live his life. Live a righteous life and you live an enlightened life. Live a wicked life and you live in darkness.
There is nothing in scripture to promote such a concept. God does not change. Quite simply, the wt has to change because reality catches up with them from time to time. Rather than admit they were wrong... they just change their teachings and call it new light.
